American Choral Directors Association National Conference

At the end of February, ETSU took 18 students from our chapter of the American Choral Directors Association to the organization's national conference in Kansas City, MO. For four days, we attended professional development sessions and concerts of some of the best choral groups in the United States and the world. It was a great opportunity to learn about the profession, and it helped me to make an important decision about my career. I am not interested in teaching choir; I would like to work with elementary students. Attending this conference allowed me to realize that and understand that it is okay to feel that way. It was a valuable experience.
